Bvlgari store

Iconic jewellery house Bvlgari has just upped the ante in Beverly Hills by inaugurating a newly built flagship store. Situated on the area’s most prestigious shopping artery, the retail space measures 5,834 sq.ft. (542 sqm.) set across three-levels, oozing elegance, and unapologetically so, with a distinctly Roman touch. Entirely wrapped in handcrafted glass, which hints Bvlgari’s commitment to craftsmanship, the store looks like a fairytale jewellery box, as if to allude to the world of glamour, dreams and fantasy that’s so inherent to this part of town. The design also takes cues from the iconic Bvlgari store on Fifth Avenue in New York City , the design incorporate s a mesh motif drawn from the clasp of a heritage bracelet from the 1930s. The motif, known as the Rosetta, comes from the clasp of a heritage bracelet from the 1930s, and is delicately reproduced on the entire façade of the store.

The elongated, lofty ground floor doesn’t shy away from palatial grandeur, featuring a backdrop of travertine columns, fluted walls and a ceiling adorned with a handmade gypsum Serpenti, a longtime icon of Bvlgari. Also part of the backdrop, at the far end of the retail space, is a grand staircase, decorated in golden tones that celebrate Bvlgari‘s heritage as a master jeweller, and paired with a delicate, floor-to-ceiling staircase curtain. Created by renowned Venetian glass design house Venini, the design takes cues from the radiant tones of sunsets in Rome and California sunsets, and comprises of no less than 1,400 handcrafted glass elements. Last but not least, there’s a Roman-style terrace, Bvlgari’s very first in all of North America. The renewed Bvlgari flagship store carries a curated selection of its High Jewellery and fine jewellery creations, spanning the brand’s most iconic collections, including Serpenti, Divas’ Dream, Tubogas, B.Zero1 and Octo watches. © superfuture
