The union.bistro project combines functionality, aesthetics, and an atmosphere inspired by culinary art. Its design integrates materials, colors, textures, and light to form a unique interior composition that blends tradition, modernity, and creativity.
The space features natural textures: stone, concrete, wood, ceramics, and glass. Textured plaster walls add visual depth, while concrete floors and ceilings preserve imperfections for authenticity. Glass blocks and decorative finishes reflect the design code of the surrounding residential complex.
Material combinations—marble, tiles, warm walnut wood, raw leather, and metallic accents—create a multi-layered aesthetic, echoing the harmony of culinary art.
An open-plan layout encourages interaction. A communal table with a marble surface, paired with Alias chairs, unites guests and highlights the venue’s social concept. The open kitchen engages visitors with interactive culinary processes, while a bar clad in Mutina tiles serves as a vibrant focal point.
Lighting shapes the atmosphere: inflatable fixtures, Catalani crystal pendants, and Davide Groppi designs create dynamic light interplay. Panoramic windows flood the space with daylight, enhancing material textures.
Ukrainian ceramic collections seamlessly integrate into decorative zones, balancing modernity and authenticity while adding functionality.
