Studio Y Coworking Offices by Curve Workplaces

Curve Workplaces designed the Studio Y coworking offices in London, blending boutique hospitality with a vibrant aesthetic to create an inviting hub for the fashion and creative communities.

Curve Workplaces partnered with Spacemade to deliver studio Y, creating a fashion-focused coworking destination with a boutique sensibility and hospitality-led design.

Studio Y is a 19,000 sq ft coworking space in Notting Hill tailored for London’s fashion and creative communities. Designed to feel more like a boutique hotel and gallery than a traditional office, the space blends aesthetic impact with hospitality-led functionality.

Spacemade’s brief called for a workspace that would challenge the status quo, creating an inviting and stylish environment, deeply rooted in the experience of community. The design reflects these ethos through a rich material palette, pattern and texture, drawing attention to key elements and subtly referencing the heritage of Monsoon Accessorize and its home in the iconic yellow building.

The reception area allows for a curated arrival experience setting the tone of the space. Social zones are integrated within spatial planning to help build the strong community, Spacemade is known for. Supporting a variety of work settings, encouraging both collaboration and focus, the space provides freedom of where and how people work, boosting team morale.

A key destination within the space is the collaborative lounge, positioned prominently to promote interaction and movement. From the collaboration area the design unfolds into flexible zones that can accommodate different workstyles while enhancing overall user experience.

The colours and patterns are used to both complement and contrast, helping to define the workplace as a “stand-out” space.

Studio Y was delivered in 2025, establishing a new benchmark for sector-specific coworking that prioritises connections, flexibility and aesthetic.
